    well I just don't think it's a good thing to mix those with current pupils with a governing body of a sport... especially one as subjective as figure skating....
    you're bound to look at a skater differently if their coach/choreographer was speaking at a seminar you attended....
    I don't care who the skater is... it's just not good...

    Then who would you suggest for presentations to the governing bodies? Retired skaters, choreographers, coaches?

    But this whole line of discussion may become moot because of the reorganization of the USOC.
