U.S. pair skaters Amanda Evora and Mark Ladwig are still mostly unknown, but they gained some recognition when they won the Golden Spin of Zagreb last season.

That was absolutely stellar Paula! :D You made my whole day by posting an interview with one of my fave US pairs teams. These two really impressed me at Nationals in Atlanta and I cannot wait to see them again this year. They got undermarked for the programs that they put out on the ice last year IMO, and I hope that doesn't happen to them this year. They've got tremendous potential and are definitely two of the nicest people I got to talk to when I was down in Atlanta. I wish them all the best for this season! Thanx again for sharing that interview. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Here's a local Florida news article about Evora & Ladwig that also mentions other pair teams coached by Kerry Leitch in Florida:
http://www.bradenton.com/mld/bradenton/living/9540499.htm

Excerpt:
<< Evora and Ladwig, who in January finished 10th in senior pairs at
the nationals in Atlanta, have been partners for three years since
she arrived from Houston and he came from Fargo, N.D.

In Germany, they plan to perform two triple jumps (one in
combination), two throw triples and a lift called the Militano, named
for 1973 national champions Melissa and Mark Militano.

By the nature of pairs skating, "If we were a theme park, she'd be
the front of the house and I'd be the people in back," Ladwig said,
jokingly. >>
