We now have 2 hurricanes..Jeanne and Karl, 1 tropical storm..Lisa, and 3 low pressure areas..2 in the eastern Atlantic and one that is the remnants of Ivan over southern Florida.
As of now:
Jeanne will remain at sea for at least the next 5 days.
Karl is moving north and eventually will head into the North Atlantic and be a threat to no one.
Lisa is moving west and is 7 to 10 days from the US mainland.
The 2 disturbances near the Cape Verde area will develop slowly and could be named Matthew and Nicole within the next 3 days.
The remnants of Ivan will move west across the Gulf and could re-develop into a tropical system.....they would not name it Ivan since it would start a mass panic, they would probably give it another name.
When we hit 21, we run out of names, and start on the Greek Alphabet
