Canada's Sweetheart The Great Barabra Ann Scott

It's funny how one skater can capture the attention of a nation and still be identified as their national hero even decades later. That is what Barbara Ann Scott did. She is still to this day an "icon" in Canada's figure skating history books. What a great lady.

I don't know, but it sure would be an interesting book. Barabara is quite an accomplished woman. There was a special program documenting her life on the CBC - "Life and Times" program not too long ago. Not only is she a figure skater she is also an accomplished equestrian rider and figure skating judge. I am sure she could give us some insight about what is happening behind the scenes in skating with the judging and skating in general.
