After just 3 skaters, Buttle has about a 12 point lead over Sandhu and Jahnke! That's quite a lead.
Rosaleen is on site and is posting to the board. Please see this thread:pollyls said:Did anybody see how Takeshi Honda did? I see him in 5th place. Inquiring minds want to know!

Buttle (36.75)
Sandhu (34.55)
Lindemann (33.10)
Van der Perren (31.94)
Honda (30.85)
Ferreira (30.60)
Then Janke and Dambier tied for 6th/7th with 30.05
I didn't see the performances, but this seems low for Van der Perren, too.

However if Evgeny Plushenko were competing here (he was scheduled for this event), he would have the other competitors blown out of the water. I don't think that any other skater in this competition can match his artistry or technique because he is that good.

I don't care what kind of marks he got, his basic skating and posture is at a novice level. I can't believe that Rod Black thought it might be equal to Buttle's program. Oh wait...Rod Black still doesn't know anything about skating after ten years of hosting it.
