Polar Express - Review

If you love animation then this movie is for you! The story is a little "shmaltzy" but toucing at times. Tom Hanks (at least his voice) pretty much dominates the movie. It is amazing though as far as the animation goes.

I am not sure it is up there with "It's a Wonderful Life" or "Christmas Carol" (the Allistair Simm version) but it's pretty good.

Lad, I agree. I saw this flick today and was so glad that the main thrust of the book was indeed also the main thrust of the movie. The animation was different but very well done. I give it a "thumbs up". 42

The reason I would like to see it is because Josh Groban sings the song at the end. Silly me!!!
