Judges Roster

Did anyone notice that Victor P and Olga M are trading positions as the Technical Specialist and the Assistant Technical specialist for both the ladies and mens events. Has to make you wonder. We will see how they call the Russian ladies scores.

And whats the problem? Are they not qualified to do the job?

Excidra - I am sure Viktor and Olga will do a fair job.

However, I think what Vicky is pointing out is that with so many technical specialists in skating now - not that they've had that much experience - why select such regional favorites to do this job? There are other Europeans, Asians and N.Americans who could also do this job. It would avoid any controversy at the "Caller" level. It just clears up any conspiracy theories.

In Skate America for the Ladies and the Men, they had: Gilberto Viadama and Ricardo Olavarietta. The Pairs had Benoit Lavoise and Alexander Kuznetsov. The Dance had Sergei Ponomarenko and Christopher Buchanan.

I do not know the nationality of Buchanan but the rest are clearly non American.
