I still don't get why this girl is being promoted over other skaters??? Donn of Weskint are you paid to promote her? If not, your organization, IMO would seem more legit if you did exactly the same degree of promotion for ALL of the skaters in the competition. I would prefer to "let the skating do the talking" instead of a glitszy campaign put on by an agency or whatever your organization chooses to call itself. I'm sure that if a skater has the goods the judges will take notice without your trying to ram it down their throats......it just seems that you are trying to hard and maybe doing this child a deservice. It gives the impression that her talent alone is not enough. Just my opinion.

Lindsay who?? OMG holy huge font son the website, what an amatuerish looking setup. This can hurt this poor kid rather than help her. Get rid of this website now and let the poor kid be a happy skater instead of a freak show. :sheesh:

What annoys me the most about this guy is the fact that he posts on EVERY major figure skating forum and says exactly the same thing. I'll admit that some of the skaters that he has promoted in the past ( ie: Erica Archambault is the 2003 Junior National Champ and the Haydenettes are a decent Synchro team.) are actually quite good. However, I feel sorry for Lindsay Davis who he has been putting messages about all over the net. I agree with whoever it was who said that it was probably an advertising campaign. She looks like she's a Intermediate skater and no older than nine or ten. Leave the kid alone and let her mature at her own rate. Also, I called my friends in Rialto (I am a Inland Empire Native) and they said that they haven't heard anything about a Lindsay Davis, let alone a big fat send off to Junior Nats. I think that this screams of "Parental Pushing" TM

Lindsay placed 10th in Juvenile Ladies, and she's 12. Mao Asada dis a triple axel and placed in her country's senior Championship at 12. Which is newsworthy?
I typed in "Lindsay Davis"{in Google, and among the results, appeared a porn site. This guy (or overzealous parent) has got to be stopped. Poor kid,

Here is Wesskint's home page (that's Mr. Donn himself, bottom center).

http://www.wesskint.org/

This Florida based organization claims to be a non-profit education and promotional resourse for skaters and gymnasts. They do things like arrange tutoring. If you are a "verifiably elite" skater, Mr. Donn says he will offer various services free of charge (presumably in exchange for publicity for his organization). Felicia Beck was the most famous skater that he has represented, IIRC.

Yes, this blitzkrieg campaign on behalf of young Miss Davis does give the appearance of indulgent parents overdoing it. On the other hand, if parents want to post pictures and keep a blog of their beloved daughter's triumphs and tribulations -- well, lots of skaters do. (May I refer you to Sasha.com, LOL?) The pictures that appear on Mr. Donn's site are supplied by the parents, as I understand, and he just serves as web page provider.
