I read an article in the current edition of Russian Life magazine (http://www.rispubs.com/) that detailed the careers and rivalry between Yagudin and Plushenko. It's not available on line, but the magazine is sold in Barnes and Noble bookstores, according to their inside cover, as well as "newstands". It was a fascinating article, and if you can get your hands on a copy of the magazine it's a good read.

It talked about their childhoods, their past training, their skating rivalries, and their futures. It mentioned Worlds and the possible rivals for gold with Plushenko, as well as Yagudin's goals. There were some pretty good pictures too.
