    Jr Ladies - Short Program - Notes & Results

    I missed the first 3 skaters -- having real problems getting organized properly here -- sorry about it. I keep hoping things will improve and they are getting better each day but still not as good as I'd like.

    Skaters are shown in the order they skated

    CAN McKenzie Pedersen Start 4 Place 15
    Notes navy with shiny poka dots / missed 1st spin think camel / nice 2a / layback is fast & centered from classic to strt leg / S spirals are ok / 3t fell short of revs / ftwrk 2l / combo spin was good on front got very slow on back / 28.15 /

    CAN Sarah Metcalfe Start 5 Place 17
    Notes had notes & lost them -- 2a had a turnout / 3s was just hung on to 1t / 1l out of footwork / 27.31 /

    CAN Tanika Gibbons Start 6 Place 1
    Notes fushia with black lace overlay / 2a covers loads of ice / 3z hung 2t barely hung on / flycam is pretty to inside edge / ftwrk 3l / spirals have good extension / layback is fast to strt leg back could be better / 43.43 /

    CAN Diane Szmiett Start 7 Place 16
    Notes yellow with orange & brown leaf design down one side / 3t2t / flycam is ok / spread eagle 2l / bobble on 1st spiral / 2a lean fell / 27.36 /

    CAN Marie-Christine Grenier Start 8 Place 7
    Notes ivory satin with dark turqoise shading at hem top of costume is very nice, but skirt is wrong / 3s fell / ftwrk 2l / 2a is high - nice / 33.89 /

    CAN Catherine Hebert Start 9 Place 9
    Notes shades of blue with open back / 1st year junior / 2a / layback speeds up / spirals are ok many catch foot pos / 3t kind ofhad it then fell off edge / she attacks her jumps - loads ofspeed into them / ftwrk 2l / combo spin has great speed throughout / This girl has somthing - good speed, an air of confidence & nice edges - she loved being out there / 32.20 /

    CAN Terra Findlay Start 10 Place 8
    Notes zorba the greek / white top black skirt / 1a / spirals are high but seem rushed / 3s fell / ftwrk 2l / 33.63 /

    CAN Amelie Lacoste Start 11 Place 2
    Notes black velvet with gold trim & red accents / spanish / ftwrk 3l / 2f? 2t far end of ice - might have been intended 3t that ws doubled / 2a landed on inside edge - free foot down / dag ftwrk is complex / 40.41 /

    CAN Kristen Walker Start 12 Place 11
    Notes navy bathing suit with fushia underskirt / 3s step out 2t / 2a is nice / good layback / ftwrk 2l / 30.11 /

    CAN Kim Caissy Start 13 Place 18
    Notes light pink lace / 3t had it then both hands down 2t / 2a stumbled out / ftwrk 2l with hands over head / 26.98 /

    CAN Marianne Laporte Start 14 Place 19
    Notes black velvet with asymetrical cutouts with sheer / 2a / 3s fell / ftwrk 2l / 25.79 /

    Notes black with white satin around neck & low back / 3z under fell 2t / ftwrk 2l / 2a high nice / 34.00 /

    Notes white semi sheer with strategically placed flowers / 2a bit low on landing but think clean / 3t2t almost put hand down but think she held off / ftwrk 2l hand at dead stop on toe / 34.72 /

    CAN Cecilia Gauvin Start 17 Place 10
    Notes light mauve satin / 3s hung on turn 2t / 2a fell / 30.53 /

    CAN Sarah Burke Start 18 Place 13
    Notes light purple over turqoise - boat neck - really pretty / camel has nice pos variations / 3l cheated fell 2t / ftwrk 2l / 2a fell / 28.69

    CAN Kristin Bonkowski Start 19 Place 20
    Notes royal purple velvet - homecoming / combo spin was pretty with music & beilamn on both legs / 2a landed on both feet / 3s landed onboth feet / ftwrk 2l / 24.10 /

    CAN Stefani Marotta Start 20 Place 12
    Notes shades of ice blue & turqoise satin / 2a / 3t rot fell 2t kind of stumbled out / ftwrk 2l /


    Amilie Lacoste is 2nd
    Amanda Valentine is 3rd
    Alison Noseworth is 4th
