2008 should be announced at the spring council meeting. Not clear when the next Worlds to be held in the US will be.
I wish calgary were a possibility... I've got the bug now LOL

When they were scheduled for Brisbane in 2000, they were pulled relatively late and held in Nice. Since then, fires burned down at least one rink (Miriam Manzano's). I'm not sure what the status of rinks is now.
Australia is fantastic to visit in March, the equivalent of a northern hemisphere September. I'd go in a second.
Oh, wouldn't it be nice to see a Worlds in a warm climate? Just think Sydney, Buenos Aires, Capetown - all nice an cozy in March.

2008 should be in the USA. We're supposed to have it every fifth year:
1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, etc.
Canada:
2001, 2006, 2011...
Asia:
2002, 2007, 2012...
Europe??/Western Europe??:
1999, 2004, 2009...
I don't know about the other years (2000, 2005, 2010) because of the mess with Austrailia. It may now be Eastern Europe or up for grabs.
If the US is supposed to get it in 2008, I wonder what city will get it...hope it's Boston!

I've forgotten...so someone remind me again why Australia lost worlds in 2000....
Is Australia considered along with Asia or does it stand as it is a separate continent?
