Whats the point of making such a long list, when you have such a small amout of information to go with it? Most of the dates and places won't be decided for years.

I think Peter is hoping someone can fill in the blanks for some of the events. He may not be aware of the timeline for deciding these events. I don't see anything wrong with posting the list.

I didn't mean to imply that there was anything wrong with making a list, I just thought it a waste of time to type all that since no one will know for years..

I will add info to the initial list as people provide info.

As for the length of the list, I went to 2010 because one of the events for that year has already been decided. Then for the current year, I typed out all the events in my MS Word document and cut and paste them under each year from 2005 to 2010. Then I cut and paste that whole thing here.

I am going to keep that word document on my computer so that I can keep track of what is coming up and what I will decide to go to. (Nothing like planning ahead!)

Posting the list this way I hope to learn more about how far ahead each type of event is planned. I'm surprised that the location for Skate Canada this year has not been confirmed at this point. If the rink(s) in Victoria aren't ready now, then I would think they'd say, "okay, then it's Winnipeg then". ("Victoria, try again next year.")

I have no idea how far ahead the Grand Prix individual events are set. Anyone else know? I would think two years in advance would be a good idea. Maybe only a year is needed to plan a four-day event, though???
