I'd like to know when that photo of Irina was taken. She looks like she has lost a lot of weight. Her legs, albeit muscular, are much thinner than I remember.

That photo was taken in Dortmund during Irina's short program. I was not fond of that costume and was so glad to see it never used again. The program though had potential and would make a beautiful exhibition for her.

She's struggled to keep her weight in balance this season with attempts to adjust her medications. I'd imagine the least fluctuation in her weight poses difficulties for her in her in jumps, spins and speed. I've noticed difference in her body at each event - most apparent in the bloated face.
