A lack of depth?

Looking at this year pre-Olympic year Russian Wolrd Team, it seems that the Russian World Team has had more depth in Ladies, Men and Dance in years past.

If after 2006, Pluschenko, Slutskaya and N & K retire, there may be a drought in the Ladies, Men's and Dance events (unless the current Dance teams are in serious development) for awhile, or post-Olympic re-building.

Will this lead to an influx of new Russian talent training in the US with their coaches? Probably so. It looks like we will have new careers to watch develop after 2006, which will be nice if the ISU can keep FS on the up and up and functioning as an Olympic sport.
