Stannick @ Worlds?

There was a forum thread on FSU (which I've just joined) about Stannick Jeannette taking the place of Samuel Contesti in the French delegation to Worlds. Does anyone here know if there's any truth to this? And if it is true, does anyone know what the French delegation is thinking? IIRC, Jeannette has not been on the GP at all this year (or if he was, he didn't finish anywhere of note) and he only placed 4th at French Nats. Granted, he was at the Champions Gala at Obertsdorf and skated a clean programme, but still? And what happened to Contesti, and if he's injured or w/e, why do the French not send someone like Ponsero or Préaubert?

Long time no post here but am here now to tell you the FFSG never even considered sending Stan after Sam's results at Euros.
They considered of sending someone else to replace Dambier, but time between Junior and Senior Worlds couldn't help them so they kept the original team.

Sad sad for Stan anyway, and if he announces his retirements I am going to puke of sadness !

Contesti just finished a respectable 5th in his qualifying group about 45 minutes ago.

Wich proves the FFSG were right in sending Contesti to Worlds. :agree:
Now they're going to be some problems with the poor showing of Fred.
