Kwan must have relatives in BC

Just a coincidence, I now work in the admissions dept. of the college I work for and today I scanned about four different documents with the name Kwan. I didn't see any Michelles, but of course we do have a high population of Asians here in the lower mainland.

I don't think Kwan is an uncommon Asian name.

[c]<font size=4><font color="#8040C0">I read somewhere that something like 85% of the population of Korea has the last name "Park." While "Kwan" might not quite be that common, I'm sure that there must be quite a few of them among the billion+ population of mainland China.

Well the name must be like Smith or Jones. I even saw it as a hyphenated name today. Loads of Kwans living here in Beautiful British Columbia.
