Has anyone ever done them? I think it would look super awesome if a pairs team did SBS russian splits or falling leafs. Can anyone recall if its been done before?

Not sure if it has been done. It would really take good timing for both skaters to execute. Otherwise, it would look awkward. I will research and see if it has been done at some point.

They are done, of course!

Sbs split jumps are routinely done in Pairs skating, and there is even a Pair stag jump done by teams (remember teams from the 70's and 80's).

The problem is that the split jumps do not get the credit they used to get, so we see less and less of it at the elite level. Also, it is hard to get the same flexibility from the man and the woman, so the lines are hard to match up.

You will see sbs splits in the lower level Pairs events.

last time I saw SBS split jumps was Woetzel & Steuer's 'Moods of Indigo' and I thought it was great - split with him holding her, SBS splits and then double jumps. I wonder how it could score under COP.
