Any reason given for two assignments to Miller and Brubaker?

Also keep your eye on Jeremy Abbot at Nebelhorn. It seems the US is really trying to develop their Mens Division.

Miller/Brubaker are the 2005 US National Champions-Junior, won a bronze medal at the 2004-2005 JGPF and placed 4th at Junior Worlds. Those are sound reasons for their two assignments.

It's pretty plain that Kimmie Meissner will be doing the Senior GP this season.

Looks like only the 2005 U.S. Junior Pairs and Dance (Pratt & Gilles) champs are getting 2 JGP assignments up front -- most likely because there are fewer age-eligible teams available vs. the many age-eligible singles skaters.

Abbott is a very talented, well-rounded skater -- I'm really looking forward to his senior debut season! Dennis Phan (last season's JGP Final champion) will likely be in contention for a Senior B assignment as well, despite missing Nationals due to injury, if he performs well in a summer monitoring competition.
