errr.. that's all I can think of for now, obviously waaay too much time spent on internet discussion groups
Afaik (as far as I know) ITA is no abbreviation. It is Latin for "it is like that".
CU ... see you
TTYL ... talk to you later
On the Internet, ITA = I TOTALLY AGREE. At least that's how I've always seen it used.
BTW = By the way

So that's what PML means -- I had been wondering about that one.
ETA -- whenever I see "ETA" my brain processes "estimated time of arrival". Think it'd be retrained by now, hmmm?![]()
ok....I'm PMLing...omg.
I'll never wrap my head around ETA, though...it makes me think of estimated time of arrival (too) every single time.
Often used in e-mail:
TTFN=Ta Ta For Now
KIT=Keep In Touch
I don't know how widely this is used, but on a chat site I know of TMPI is used for "too much personal information".....

ETA is very common in Television Without Pity.
OTT -- Over the top (haven't seen this one around for a while)
OOC -- if you're reading fanfics, that means out of character
Looking through the link Heyang has provided, some things have jumped out at me. For example:
PMYMHMMFSWGAD
Pardon Me, You Must Have Mistaken Me For Someone Who Gives A Damn
also the kind and generic...
TCOYS...Take Care of Your Self or simply, TC for Take Care
TTYS....Talk to you soon
MT...me too
I hear that much of this is not only driven by internet use, but also by people using text on their cells to cut down on cost
