Predictions? Favorites?

As long as Daryl goes home in the first couple of weeks I'll be happy.

This group is nowhere near as diverse as last year's top ten. They remind me more of the type of singers from American Idol.

My favs are Suzi, Rex, and Amber.

If you close your eyes, Daryl sounds like quite a talented vocalist, just a thirteen year old female one.

Josh and Aaron can both go home. Josh is a horrible singer. A lot of schmaltz, but no talent. I think the judges are mesmerized by his shtick.

Aaron is just loud. I agree with Zack on this one.

Wow, what a dull night. Usually the Canadian Hits night is one of the best shows of the season. Here's my rankings:

1. Ashley - Far and away the best of the night.
2. Melissa - I was pleasantly surprised
3. Rex - Better than Kalan's version.
4. Suzi - Good, but I think she can do better
5. Amber - Boring and not as good as Jenny Gear's version.
6. Josh - Different.
7. Daryl - Children shouldn't be aloud on this show.
8. Emily - Meh.
9. Casey - That was about as bad as it gets.
Can't rank Aaron since I missed his performance.

I'd say that Emily is going home tomorrow since she has no fanbase and she did pretty poorly.

I agree. That was the poorest group number ever. Also when Josh "sang" (I say this with tongue in cheek) Haleujah, by Lenord Cohen, he murdered it. I could not understand one word he said.

Ashley and Melissa were highlights.

Aaron was horrible.

Mike, you were spot on with your prediction of Emily going home. I think Daryl should go next. Judging from his body language he is pretty uncomfortable up on the stage. I hope Casey can do better this week. Shes got lots of support here in New Brunswick. I drove through her hometown of Nackawic last weekend and on the sign saying "Welcome to Nackawic" there was the addition of "Home of Casey Leblanc." Hopefully she can show all her supporters just how good she can be! No one wants to get through with a bad performance. Come'on Casey, earn it!
My favorite is Ashley. My boyfriend is convinced Suzi is going to win it all.
