    Cool skating websites

I would like to check out some figure skating websites. Would you mind listing your favorite?

    Thanks,
    Arianne

Are you interested in a particular discipline or skater?

One of my favorites is this website for Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto run by Laura. Very well done, a huge amount of pictures and many other points of interest. This site recently received a huge from IFS magazine.

    http://www.naomiandpeter.com/

    Their official website:
    http://www.naomilang.com/

Since you are an L&T fan these websites might be good for you to browse through. Of course they haven't been updated in awhile since L&T aren't really officially skating together but there are some great pictures. In particular the official site has alot of pictures of Naomi and her family off ice plus a question and answer page.

    You could also try:
    http://www.frogsonice.com/skateweb/

A huge website run by Sandra Loosemore. You can find practically anything or anybody you are looking for including a large amount of photo sites.

    Happy hunting!

One of the very best official sites belongs to Stephane Lambiel (it was also mentioned in IFS)

For figure skating news and gossip don't miss FSU

    For articles about skaters
    http://www.absoluteskating.com/

    and
    http://www.skatetoday.com/

or just try to Google the name of the skater you want information about! Good luck!

Great sites! I'm benefitting from Donna's question

May I ask an added question? Anyone know of sites (other than the official IOC and Torino) or forums (other than travel) about the Winter Olympics coming up?

    TIA!

Why types of skating sites are you looking for? http://www.goldenskate.com is definitely first rate (I can't believe I just said something like Dick Button lol) and has a huge listing of different sites...

if you're looking for particular skaters I'm sure we can all give our favorite sites for them lol

    http://www.tracings.net is another good one...

http://www.sashafans.com is a great site if you're a fan of hers... I'm not but I love looking at the very simple yet professional look to their site...

    just a couple of suggestions

That is one of the best official skater sites. I love the web design, and they take time to translate all the Stephane publications into English.

Also for Johnny fans there is the official site and Johnny Weir: A Rising Star where Johnny posts his thoughtful and hilarious Q&A's.

    My favorite

    Skating Videos !!!

If there is a program you never taped, but wish you had a copy of, you can be sure that someone there will have it!

Rinkside is quite good, too, for videos.
