So to my understanding that the CD starts at 7:30 am Friday right?

yes - France is 6 hours ahead of East Coast.

I can't believe it either that the dance couples have to do 2 comps in 1 day!

Well, Friday should be a very busy day

I'm wondering they are doing this because of the rioting an they want competitions in Paris to get over as asoon as possible
