Well, it's all talk. I wouldn't be surprised if she opts out at the last minute.

No. She doesn't fully rotate the 3 ax, she won't rotate the quad. If she falls, she'll get one point like Takahashi did in the LP. Better to go for a clean skate and hope to get on the podium. She'll have a chance with two solid skates, she may not if she falls on a cheated quad.

Well, if she doesn't do it now, she'll never do it later. She is already 18. Might as well 'go for broke.' Of course, with that funereal music (Funny Valentine - super slo-mo edition), it won't fit into the choreography...unless she has never, peppier music now.

Can Kimmie still do a triple axel? Or was it a one trick pony that was over rewarded. Maybe she's not training with Shawn Rogers any more.
