Tanith wins "hottest female athlete" award

Well, it's official. Tanith Belbin was declared the winner of the ESPN hottest athlete award, edging out Maria Sharapova among others. Tanith says: "When I heard I was leading) I'm like, 'I'm not losing to another Russian!'"

Also: "It's interesting. I'm not a shy person and it's not something I'm uncomfortable with. I have a silver medal, so it's not like I'm one of those [female athletes] who are only known for her sex appeal."

She sure does! I am surprised Sport's Illustrated didn't use her in their infamous Swimsuit Edition; Anna Khournikova, Maria Sharapova and Katia Goordeva have all been in it.

But hottest? I don't know.
