I have never been able to understand why exactly Yahoo or AP photographers seem to think photos of a skater in mid-jump are so crucial, because, as everyone who follows the sport knows, that's usually when the skaters look their worst. I mean, how hard can it be for them to get a good shot during a pose, or a spiral, or spin (mind you, I've seen some pretty bad spin photos at times), or even the exit out of a jump? I mean, all these talented photo journalists, and all they seem to be thinking is, "Hey! She's jumping! Take a picture!"
