I'm pertty sure they just add the base value of the 2 jumps in the combination together, for sequences they add the 2 together and then only take 80% of the value

Yes, for a jump combination, they add the base values of the 2 or 3 jumps in the combination.

For a jump sequence, the score is 80% of the combined values of the two highest valued jumps in the sequence.

Judges then add or subtract GOE from that total base value, depending on how well the combination or sequence was executed.

As Mskater mentioned, in the long program that score is then multiplied by 1.1 if it occurs after the midpoint of the program.
