Pair program with two world champions, Mao & Jeff

^^^
I'm not against that sort of thing. I think there should be more of it. It doesn't have to be Pairs. It could be a 'Dance for Two' on skates which could resemble a pas de deux in ballet. Actually some Dance teams are approaching that, but I think there is rule about lifting above the shoulders. Once that rule is overruled, we could get some nice 'Dance for Two' and without all that acrobatics that are in Pairs.

^^^^ I love the one of Kerrigan and Wylie skating together. The music is gorgeous, and they perform together so well!

Jeff and Mao are so cute together. They looked very comfortable with the lift, even though she is about his height!

Cool. I know Jeff likes to push his limits and try new things and different types of music. This will suit him to a "T." I hope someday to see it live.

I love it when skaters do different things. I really enjoyed Kurt's "pair" programs over the years with -

and Shae-Lynn Bourne:

I would also love to see Emanuel Sandhu paired with another amazingly talented skater like Shae-Lynn for example - that would be entertaining!

Thanks for this

Kurt and Kristi also skated a few times together (Disney's Aladdin on Ice, which was really lame but still! as well as SOI programs) and let's not forget Kurt and Josee!

Does anyone out there remember the original golden age of the Landover Competitions when they had that team format? (now I'm showing my age...:p)

There were enjoyable 'pairings' of singles skaters as part of ensemble numbers that were fun to watch. One of my favorites, Janet Lynn and John Curry skating a waltz-like pattern together.

The Kerrigan/Wylie program reflected so nicely their friendship and shared training experience. What is often forgetten is that Paul was a US Junior pairs champion.

I would really love to see a Kristi & Rudy 'reunion'... just to see them on the ice together would seem a beautifully symbolic way of coming full circle - even as they had so much to get through from when they broke up.

Well, it looks like Jeff likes skating with Mao more than with Evan.

Of course, Mao is prettier.
