While I could understand going to him strictly for jumps, I'd want him as part of a coaching team. someone who was openly anti-"artistic" programs just doesn't sound all that promising as a rounded coach

This is great news. Elivs will be a great coach. He is a real team leader and probably one of the strongest competitors I have ever seen. Patrick Chan reminds me a little of Elvis with his composure and mental strength when he (Chan) is skating.
