I just got back from seeing the movie 'The Missing", and it was one of the worst movies I've sen in a long time. I wanted to walk out. We should have known better when we asked a theatre employee if he had seen it, and his only response was to laugh.

It was two and a half hours, which was way too long for what they wanted to say. It was also graphically violent to the point of making me feel ill. If you planned on seeing this movie, you may want to save your money.

Thanks for the "heads up!" I heard some of the reviews were not so great. I wanted to see it, but maybe I will wait until it comes out on video. Thanks!

I hate to hear this! I too have read some very harsh reviews. The previews looked so interesting and Cate Blanchett, in my opinion, is one of the finest actresses in the industry. She should have won that Oscar for "Elizabeth"! A brilliant movie and an even better performance!

Drat! We had this movie lined up for this weekend! Maybe we"ll go see "Elf" instead.........42

Elf was good. Cate Blanchett did a great job, it was the writing I didn't like.
