very impressive. he is going to have a great career and it is so nice to hear that he is keeping up his skating with the Haarlem program.

He had such a brilliant skate in 2003 Worlds. He was becoming a tough contender for the following Olys, but the spine gave out. Very sad.
How nice to see this article! I'm so thrilled that he's getting such a wonderful education and is keeping involved with skating as well. I know that Carol Heiss, his original coach, was known for insisting that her skaters continued with their education. Tonya Kwiatkowski (which I may have misspelled) got her degree while she competed as an amateur under Heiss. Heiss must be so proud of Goebel! The Harlem program sounds tremendous as well. Thanks so much for posting it.

yeah the blue mohawk is not that impressive. He showed it off on facebook a while back.

I am glad he seems to be doing well.
