How many people miss the graceful Angela Nikodinov?

She is one of the skaters I miss a whole bunch. Her Transformation made her the most beautiful skater on the Ice I think. All 4 of her programs choreographed by her coach Tcherkeskaya(?) were masterpieces that I think shall never be matched in Grace, Power and Beauty.

Definitely I miss her. She was a wonderfully lyrical skater. Glad to see her talked about on this thread.
 
I definitely miss her skating. She was so elegant on the ice. My favorite routine of her's was her Just for You short program. One of the few programs I didn't mind seeing year after year.

ETA - speaking of which I'm watching her skate her free skate to "The Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun"

I simply adored her skating. If fate had treated her a little more kindly , her place in skating history might have surpassed many other skaters who are better known today.
 
Hmm, I guess I need to re-visit Angela because I always had this, "Ho hum, well I suppose I do like her more than Amber Corwin" feeling about her skating. But if GS fans see so much to like about her performances, I need to re-consider! (I certainly admired her courage in the face of tragedy, of course. Just talking about her skating.)
 
Angela was a before & after story. There was Angela skating technically well, but rather dully to The Mummy, (before) and then there was Angela skating to Just for You. (after) and No One Gives Up on Love and Giselle

I agree with Doris... depending on which Angela you remember you come up with different feelings, IMO. Elena was the best thing to happen for her...

I miss her. As of last year, wasn't she coaching a Bulgarian skater? I hope she's still involved with the sport.

Loved her Giselle program, and I fondly remember her Cinderella program from 1998 US Nationals.
 
Does anyone know the artist for No one gives up on love? IS it Mark Minkov?

Can we get this track on itunes or Amazon or was it arranged for Angela.

I will always have a special place in my skating heart for Angela Nikodinov, one of my absolute favorite skaters ever! She is the epitome of grace and she is so lovely. I really hope she is enjoying her life and I miss seeing her on the ice so much! :love:
