The boys tend to take longer to burst onto the senior scene than the junior ladies who basically have to deal with tons of pressure once they move up.. I dont expect any of them to make a splash next year in seniors but they all certainly have potential..

In order of qualification:

1 Andrei ROGOZINE CAN
2 Han YAN CHN
3 Joshua FARRIS USA
4 Keegan MESSING USA
5 Richard DORNBUSH USA
6 Max AARON USA
7 Zhan BUSH RUS
8 Gordei GORSHKOV RUS

Substitutes:
1 Artur DMITRIEV RUS
2 Jason BROWN USA
3 Alexander MAJOROV SWE

Dmitriev Jr. misses the final by 0.3 pts¡¡ ouch and little Han Yan will have to be considered a favorite skating at home. Its gonna be a battle between him and Rogozine with any of the four american boys as spoiler. The two russians boys are there for the experience.

This is going to be a great JGPF competition. I think I'm more excited about the Jr men (and the JGPF ladies) than I am the Seniors. Definitely going to get my ticket to this one!
I'm sad for Dmitriev, though, being so close yet miss the final has got to sting.

To be honest, after the last couple of amazing men's fields in the JGPF, I'm not so excited about this one. :( I really like Keegan, but that's about it.

I think the competitors are all very close but Rogozine has been the most consistent.

I could pick other choices but I think Juniors' winners are the only podium.

Doing a 3A and a 3lz was necessary to do well. I assume all the skaters doing loops will try for lutzes eventually. Maybe in the FS you will see how people who didn't do one in the SP do one in the FS. Test it out at least.

Han YAN is in 3rd even though he landed a 2A (he isn't trying 3A in competition yet). 3Lo is the required solo jump out of steps in the Junior SP this season.

Jeez I have been following this all season and didn't remember 3 loop was required! Duh!!
