Elene G. is quite a beautiful skater...and I hadn't noticed before the height she gets on some of her jumps.

Yes, too bad she is so inconsistent-- puberty really, really hurt her (you should see her in 2006 when she was an up-and-comer), and she's still just 20! It seems like she's a real veteran, but she's the same age as Mao and Yuna!
 
Hmm... I'm actually a bit surprised Elene placed behind Viktoria overall... She looked so unstoppable during the beginning of the program! Too bad for the mistakes later on! Hope she can medal again at Euros.
 
well i would have elene ahead victoria, she has some nice quality.. shame about the jumps...
 
An okay performance from Maé today..a few mistakes
Overall, a good competition for her first senior grand prix.

She's only 16. The girl has potential!!
 
Zhang...you can tell she's really making an effort...but still, something is missing.
 
Nice to see a little smile even after that somewhat disappointing performance.
 
Caroline really has upped her speed so I'm very happy for. You can tell in the beginning although she became cautious after the many mistakes. If she sticks at it I think the new technique will eventually become 2nd nature.

That lil girl that Caroline was just so adorable and she could do things with her body. Now that is all gone so whatever that was is missing.

Caroline is really really slow.. especially in and out of the jumps. I think I might have seen a fly on her when she was skating.
