The first 3Flip-3Loop shown in that video would deserve to be ratified. Can't be sure about the second one because text on the screen is blocking her feet.

"Mao hasn't changed much even though she just turned 20," Mai says. "She's pretty normal, but kind of quirky. The one time we drank alcohol together, Mao got really excited and gave me a long lecture. Then she suddenly fell asleep. It was really funny. "

I definitely would love to hear more about Mao's everyday life. She sounds like a fun person.

Just to give perspective for people not familiar with Japan, the legal drinking age is 20 (which Mao just turned) there, which is why they've been talking about drinking often this year (i.e. the Asadas are not alkies). :biggrin:
 
Nice to see her go into detail about how she's trying to improve her jumps and her spins. So often you hear skaters talking about redoing their technique but it's vague.

Mao is such an exciting skater. What she's doing now with her jumps and the risk she's taking is so intriguing.

He has been doing it for some time.
I bet Mao is flattered by all of this.
He seems to be a wise kid too, tapping the big market.
