Cripes, that's an odd choice for such an important public event. Did she think no one in all of France could read English?

Even if she wanted comfortable clothes for sitting a long time in a chilly rink, there are plenty of tremendously chic tunic-legging combinations out there. A woman in my office today is wearing an amazing jersey tunic in charcoal-and-black horizontal stripes, very graceful, paired with black leggings. She looks professional yet stylishly progressive, and any camera could capture her image and not embarrass her. Surely Annissina, a woman located in the country considered the world's fashion epicenter, could have found some completely stretchable clothes that made a better effect than that strange article.

Looks like Prince Albert sat with the President of the French Federation while watching the skating, kissed Marina on the cheek, posed with his sister Princess Caroline & niece Princess Alexandra, nice family outing.

ps: Princess Caroline & Princess Alexandra also attended the ice dance portion of the event today (posted pics over in the ice dance section).

Surya looks very good, by the way--fit and chic. It's great to get a glimpse of her.

pps: it was nice seeing Surya, Gwendal, and Marina all sitting together early this morning. As well as Stephane Lambiel. ^)
