How does it work with Susanna running for President and Vice President?

Who is best positioned to lead the "Anyone But Lakernik" ticket. :)

Election of the President is done first. So if somone running for both President and Vice-President positions wins the presidency, he/she will withtdraw from the vice-president before the VP vote takes place.
The order of elections is President, Vice Presidents, Council members.

Same thing with the Technical committees. First they elect the chair, then the members.

Agreed! It's time the ISU has figure skaters lead the federation. Also OK with Matsumura for VP but yes, I want Susanna for President!
For too long, I feel like the iSU is run by people who don’t appreciate the breadth and depth of the sport. It certainly feels like the ISU is being held back from adapting with the times. I can see this everywhere:
1) competitions don’t have advanced camera systems or the kinds of “angles” modern sports have.
2) new “improved” scoring system still feels more of a knee-jerk reaction than an actual replacement to the (far superior) 6.0 system.
3) they are only now thinking about racial diversity?
4) lack of media tie-ins. (limited merchandising, no figure skating movies, tv specials? Etc.)

So... Who are these newly elected people and what should we expect from them?

I recognize a bunch of names but I only remember them as skaters. I know nothing about them as officials. Can anybody tell something more, please?

Thank you. I was just about to ask "and who's Kim?" :) Could have googled him though 😁

His CV seems to be rather impressive. Maybe this is good news that he became the president, I don't know :scratch2:

Technical Commitees include an "appointed skater" and an "appointed coach". The positions are not elected but they are appointed by the ISU Council

Last week, ISU Council decided

Single and Pair Technical Committee

Apppointed skater: left pending (incumbent was Fedor Klimov)
Appointed coach: Patrick Meier (who was the incumbent)

Ice Dance Technical Committee

Apppointed skater: Kaitlyn Weaver (replacing Alper Ucar)
Appointed coach: Alper Ucar (replacing Maurizio Margaglio)

Synchronized Skating Technical Committee

Appointed Skater: Ida Hellström (new but I don't follow Synchro too much and so I can't recall who held this position in the previous term).
Appointed Coach: Cathy Dalton (re-appointment)
