We talked about that from the arena. We came to the decision, that Sasha had to wait until the LIVE commerical finished before taking the ice. We really believe it was an ABC thing. Not Sasha.

Actually no, we saw the warm-up end, skaters take off and Sasha go to talk to Robin all on the telecast.

I have been to Nationals where they held up the start of the final warm-up to coincide with the live broadcast. But once the warm-up starts, the network is not allowed to delay a skater for telecast reasons.

I'm surprised more skaters don't take advantage of the 2 minute rule - they are allowed the 2 minutes to prepare so why should they rush? Oksana always took her time and I remember Michelle taking her time in 2001 when she was having boot problems (in the preliminaries).

I too did not agree with the 6.0 for Sasha. She could've got one in the short but not the long with 2 mistakes. bad judgment on the judges part.
