Let’s celebrate together!
I think I should remind that soviet people were not supposed to celebrate Christmas, so they decorated fir-trees on New Year. And Ded Moroz (who can be called Russian Santa) brings gifts for children on New Year. His name means “Grandfather Frost” or “Oldman Frost”. That’s why even now many Russians associate decorated trees with New Year.
A New Year post by Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov
Maria Petrova, Alexei Tikhonov and their daughter
Maria also tells they will be shown in a New Year ice theatrical on TV (I think it has nothing to do with shows by Averbukh)
New Year posts by Ekaterina Bobrova
and a breathtaking movie about their New Year tree
Anna Pogorilaya-Nevskaia and her family
“You were born a year ago, on 22.12.2020 at 21:20. We are grateful to you that we have you. You are the best New Year gift…”
