Wenjing Sui and Cong Han of China won the Pairs event by more than 12 points, while   Japan’s Narumi Takahashi and Mervin Tran placed second. Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov of Russia maintained third place overall to win the bronze.

Wenjing Sui and Cong Han of China currently lead the Pairs discipline, followed closely by  Japan’s Narumi Takahashi and Mervin Tran and Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov of Russia.

Sui and Han win Junior Pairs title at Grand Prix Final

China’s Wenjing Sui and Cong Han defended their overnight lead to win the title after placing first in long program with their routine to City Lights. The newcomers from Harbin delivered a good double Axel-double Axel sequence, as well as  an excellent throw triple Salchow and triple twist. They also produced solid spins and lifts, earning 103.65 points for the long program and 160.45 points overall.

Sui and Han lead Junior Pairs in Tokyo

The 2009-10 ISU Grand Prix Final of Figure Skating was held Dec. 3 – 6 at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. Approximately 84 skaters from 11 countries competed in the   Junior and Senior divisions of the event.

The first day of the event kicked off on Dec. 3 with  the Junior Pairs.
