Evgeni Plushenko (RUS) became the first skater to perform a quadruple toe-triple toe-triple loop combination in competition (2002 Cup of Russia). He was also the first skater to land a quadruple toe-triple toe-double loop in competition at the 1999 NHK Trophy.
