2019 Internationaux de France is the third event of the 2019-20 Grand Prix series. The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series consists of six international senior invitational events and culminates with the 2019-20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final.

Figure Skating pairs team Shen Xue and Hongbo Zhao became the first Chinese skaters in any discipline to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympic Games (2010). They are also the first Chinese pair team in figure skating to win a World title (2002).
