2020 The Nordics / Nordic Open

The Nordic Championships (Nordiska Mästerskapen) are an annual elite figure skating competition. The Nordics are an annual elite figure skating competition. The Nordics are open only to representatives of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden in Novice Advanced, while The Nordic Open (Senior/Junior) is open to any representatives of any ISU member nation (since 2011 senior, first time in 2020 juniors).

Japan’s Yuzuru Hanyu is the first skater in history to successfully land a quadruple loop in competition (2016 Autumn Classic). He is also the first skater to successfully land:
– a quadruple toe-triple Axel sequence in competition (2018 GP Helsinki)
– three quadruple jumps in the second half of a free skating program (2017 World Team Trophy)
