DESCRIPTION:2027 World Junior Figure Skating Championships\nThe 2027 World Junior Figure Skating Championships will take place February 24–28\, 2027\, in Sofia\, Bulgaria\, at Arena 8888. \nOften referred to as “Junior Worlds\,” this annual competition is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and features many of the world’s top junior skaters competing in men’s\, women’s\, pairs\, and ice dance. \n \n \nEvent Details\n\nDates: February 24–28\, 2027\nLocation: Sofia\, Bulgaria\nVenue: Arena 8888\nLevel: Junior International\nDisciplines: Men\, Women\, Pairs\, Ice Dance\nISU Event Page\nForum Competition Threads\n\nEligibility\nTo compete at the World Junior Championships\, skaters must meet ISU age and eligibility requirements. \n\nSkaters must be at least 13 years old before July 1 of the competition season\nMaximum ages vary by discipline:\n\nSingles (Men & Women): must not have reached age 19\nPairs: Women up to 21\, Men up to 23 (maximum 7-year age gap)\nIce Dance: both partners must not have reached age 21 (maximum 7-year age gap)\n\n\n\nIn addition\, competitors must meet ISU citizenship and residency rules. Skaters who have previously represented another country or do not hold the nationality of their federation must obtain an ISU clearance certificate.
