DESCRIPTION:2023 FISU Winter World University Games – Lake Placid\n\nThe 2023 FISU Winter World University Games will take place Jan 11-15\, 2023\, in Lake Placid\, New York\, at the Olympic Center. This collegiate international event will feature the singles discipline (Women and Men) and Ice Dance disciplines at the senior level. \n\nEntries/Results\n\nEligibility \nOnly the following may participate in the Figure Skating Competition at the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games (cf. FISU Games 2023 General Regulations Art 5.2.1 and Art 5.2.2): \n\n students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at the university or similar institute\, the status of which is recognized by the appropriate national academic authority of their country;\nformer students of the institutions mentioned in a) who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the calendar year preceding the event;\n\nNationality and Age Restriction \nAll athletes must satisfy the following conditions (cf. FISU Games 2023 General Regulations Art. 5.2.4): \n\nbe a national of the country they represent (with exception in the Ice Dance event\, ISU Rule 109 paragraph 3 applies);\nbe at least 18 and no older than 25 years of age on 31 December of the year of the event (FISU Games 2023: the athletes must be born between 1 January 1997 and 31 December 2005).\n\nThe competition will be conducted in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations\, the 2022 Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Single Skating\, as well as all relevant ISU Communications.

SUMMARY:2023 European Figure Skating Championships
DESCRIPTION:2023 European Figure Skating Championships\n\nThe 2023 European Figure Skating Championships will take place January 23-29\, 2023\, at the Metro Areena in Espoo\, Finland. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and is one of the four (World\, Four Continents\, and World Junior Championships) annual figure skating competitions designated “ISU Championships.” Skaters must belong to a European member nation of the ISU to compete and must be at least fifteen before July 1 preceding the event. \nThe Minimum Technical Elements Score (not including Component Scores) is a Technical Score and must have been reached in an ISU recognized International Competition (as per Article 39\, paragraph 7 of the ISU Constitution and Rule 107\, paragraphs 1 to 10 of the ISU General Regulations) during the ongoing or preceding season in both segments\, Short Program/Rhythm Dance and Free Skating/Free Dance (See ISU Special Regulations Single & Pair Skating Ice Dance\, Rule 378\, paragraph 3). \nWhile the Minimum Technical Elements Score must be reached separately in each segment (not a total of the two segments)\, the Minimum Technical Elements Score for each segment may be reached at different competitions. The Minimum Technical Elements Score must be reached 21 (twenty-one) days before the first day (first official practice day) of the Championships concerned (same as entry deadline). \n\nEntries/Results
