DESCRIPTION:2027 Canadian National Skating Championships\nThe 2027 Canadian National Figure Skating Championships will take place January 12–17\, 2027\, at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga\, Ontario. Approximately 250 skaters in the Singles (women and men)\, Pair and Ice Dance disciplines will compete at the senior and junior levels. \nThis event will bring together the country’s top figure skaters to compete for national titles and international assignments. As Canada’s premier domestic figure skating event\, the championships play a crucial role in determining teams for major ISU competitions\, including the Four Continents Championships\, World Junior Championships\, World Figure Skating Championships\, and other international events during the 2026–27 season. \nThe competition features athletes in men’s singles\, women’s singles\, pairs\, and ice dance at both the senior and junior levels. In addition to crowning national champions\, the event provides an opportunity for emerging skaters to showcase their talent alongside Canada’s established stars. \nHosted by Skate Canada\, the championships have a long history dating back to 1914 and have served as a launching pad for many of the nation’s most successful figure skaters.
