I still can’t believe it. But my novel, Winners Don’t Have Bad Days, just won a Watty2020 award, in Romance category!

There were 40,000 completed novels entered in this competition, so I had zero hopes that a story revolving around figure skating has a chance of a snow ball in hell, but wow, wow, wow, I am a Watty winner.

With a figure skating book... yay!

Yay, congrats! Maybe we'll get some new figure skating fans over from Wattpad thanks to your novel :D
I hope so. Most skating stories on there right now look like they're written by 11 year olds. This one was a good find!

Omg, thank you again. I am pretty sure I made lots of cheesy oopses in it in the skating sequences, and stuff, but I did my best to follow the skaters’ interviews, watched the programs I used as reference a lot (I used Panfilova/Rylov) and wrestled down my fan girling adoration to some reasonable level 😂
