Nice last combo! I think this girl had some interesting skating qualities, she should get some good coaching.
Skaters like her do it for the love of skating obviously.Well, at least she's happy
I think these girls and Alina are my faves for tomorrow now.Kaiya, Janna and my new fave Noelle in the last group tomorrow
There were 35 girls listed originally.Wow what a short junior ladies event. Usually they last forever.
Seoyeon's Danse Macabre is recycled, (edit: help I'm confusing years) my beloved Seoyeong's SP back then was Crouching Tiger Hidden DragonDid Seoyeon Ji recycled her SP or was it Seoyeong Wi who skated on danse Macabre during 2019-2020 season?
that's why i did mention the korean... but i agree on your glasses LOL no worries.. it happens to all of usThat's why I said "with the skaters yet to come" Because I was expecting Seo-Yeon to get into the mix.
But, what I said was rubbish, because I mis-read Kaiya's score as 55.50, rather than 59.50.
I think I'd need to clean my glasses...

That didn't happen a lot these last 10 years. If the standings stay as they are, we will have a North American podium.
Kaiya was underscored, I thought she would hit 60. Would have to see the protocols.
I mean, Queen Yuna's name was butchered her whole career, I-Okay I need to take a sanity break, but just two things about my girls here:
1) Ahsun's name is /asən/, the 'sun' is as in the big glowing orb in the sky
2) Seoyeon's surname is /dʒi/, it's an English J sound. Not /ji/, 'Yee'
I am kinda unhealthily obsessed with names and butchered names of our skaters is one of my greatest pet peeves
Well, between the translation mistakes (wonder why Yeon-a became Yu-na) and the foreign languages, all names are pretty difficult to pronounce. Easier to write them. Even if ISU and media don't bother to write the "-" between the two parts of a name.Okay I need to take a sanity break, but just two things about my girls here:

At least the Queen was fine with it... (deep sigh) it was supposed to be Yun-a, not Yu-na goddamnitI mean, Queen Yuna's name was butchered her whole career, I-
