Business is about to pick up.

4 Russian ladies coming to shake the beautiful city of Budapest up. Hope their infrastructure can handle Eteri. Haha

Any idea what's happening with Elena Komova? She's in the entry lists for both Junior and Seniors!

I suppose it is possible that she could be doing both. However, the Junior and Senior Ladies SP's are back-to-back on Saturday, while the Junior and Senior Ladies FS's are back-to-back on Sunday. It would be a very grueling schedule for her.

I would think she'll definitely do Juniors rather than Senior. In one of those strange anomalies that IJS brings, Elena competed in the 2nd Qualifier at Sheffield last week and though coming 3rd in both SP and FP, finished 4th.

Yay! I´m looking forward this event! Just saw both Dima and Samarin on a Instagram-story, and I just realized I´m much looking forward to see Samarin again :)

Another interesting watch for me is the new German ice dance team, Milla Ruud Reitan / Nikita Remeshevskiy. Milla used to represent Norway in single skating, but switched to Ice Dance, moved to Oberstdorf and paired up with Nikita. They were supposed to go to JGP in Kosice, but was replaced. Don´t know why, but i´m happy they are finally having their debut :) I´m wondering if Milla perhaps is half German, her ISU bio says she started to train at the skating club in Oberstdorf in 2010...but she is born in Norway. Milla is not a very common name in Norway.. Will be interesting to hear in K&C if they speak German to each other or not, that might give a hint.

I'm hoping Matteo has both a great SP and FS here. We've already seen him do an excellent FS at Finlandia (I actually called it 'doing a Nathan'), together with a good SP he'll really be in for the medals (if perhaps not an Olympic one). Yay!

my son is here i can't not watch

Snap!

It's nearly 2 years since my boy Sam was last in action in a competition that was broadcast. So, I'm definitely not missing his return.

By the way, I see the owner of the closet full of scary shirts is on right after your boy...
