Enjoy the boys - I've got hockey to watch. Fingers crossed for Kirill Andrusik and Dima Shelkovnikov, who seemingly massively benefits from training in Piter. :cheer2:

Standings in Russian Cup Juniors

(if I have calculated it correctly)

1. Titova 36 (2)
2. Zakharova 32 (2)
3. Dvoeglazova 30 (2)
4. Vazhnova 20 (2)
5. Gorbacheva 18 (1)
6. Nelyubova 14 (2)
7. Rubtsova 14 (1)
8. Ponteleenko 12 (1)
9. Morozova 12 (1)
10. Artyomova 12 (1)
11. Palagina 10 (2)
12. Karpuk 8 (2)
13. Kulak 8 (2)
14. Gurgenidze 8 (1)
15. Shiryaeva 6 (1)
16. Dmitrieva 6 (1)
17. Zubkova 6 (1)
18. Latushkina 5 (2)
19. Novikova 4 (2)
20. Shcherbinina 4 (1)
21, Kovalenko 4 (1)
22. Remyga 2 (1)
23. Moiseeva 1 (1)
24. Denisova 1 (1)
25. Paramonova 0 (2)

Probably around 11 spots avaliable for Junior Nats, so Dmitrieva is in trouble, Latushkina and Paramonova are out.

There is either 9 spots left for nationals or 11 depending if you needed 2 or 1 JGP assignments to qualify as Maria Z still competed in Russian cup in 2 stages while Liza B hasn't competed yet but both have had 1 assignment as well.

I think its safe to say all of Vazhnova, Titova and Alisa D have qualified. All of 7-10 have over 10 points with 1 assignment so they can easily push Nelyubova out of national qualification if they get at very least 5 points in their next assignments so 8th place or over. Maria D has 3A and while she is currently sitting on 6 points she can still qualify if she gets near the podium.

Yes, and there are a few names that we haven't seen yet.
Ovchinnikova, Lagutova and Berestovskaya.
And Kulikova and Zinina might show up as well.
And Sadkova of course.
Sviridenko and A Morozova did senior cups so I don't know if they will q automatically to juniors like last year.

Zinina is at the next stage in seniors, she needs to qualify for nats.

This is an important milestone since this is the first quad which is 100% AoP's doing. Also, they never posted it on Instagram, while Zinina's quads were all over the place.
Indeed! They posted Off-ice attempts, but never an on-ice one. I did a double take when it popped up in the BOX. And then counted the rotations in the replay just to make sure! So exciting!

NGL, I'm a bit sad Plushy wasn't there to see it in person, but oh well, I'm sure he was watching at home.

We haven't seen Maria Mazur yet. She is 12 (born before July 1st), so she can compete in juniors.

Maria switched to AP from TT. I hope we'll see her at the next stage. She needs to perform otherwise she won't get the spots for participation in the JGP next season.

Mazur's ex-coach at Khrustalny was Olga Volobueva, she was not at TT.

She was coached by Volobueva at Khrystalny not Team tut. There are bunch of other coaches and teams at Khrystalny. Maria didn't do well last season so she wouldn't get invited to the Russian cup.
Maria Mazur has taken part on the AoP's internal competition sponsored by ROCS in case anybody is curious about what's up with her https://www.instagram.com/p/CVNJGF9glex/
