I wish them all the best of luck.. But what I read about Bulgaria's COVID restrictions.... is that no US citizens can entry the country, since we are a "COVID-RED" country. So why is the ISU planning JR Worlds in this country? I am sure other countries are also restricted from entering by the same 'rules'.
ISU should change the venue ASAP!

Not sure about definite *no entry* for countries listed as red ones. Based on my research, living in red country per Bulgarian list, I would have to show a PCR test as negative upon arrival, the 72H rule applies for vaxxed people, don'tknow what'sthe rules for unvaxxed ones/if any exemption apply. Maybe US has different entry conditions, but latest I read info on travelling to Bulgaria, it was test for arriving from red countries as general rule

Canada announced their Junior World's team:

MEN
Wesley Chiu
Stephen Gogolev

WOMEN
Justine Miclette
Lia Pereira

PAIRS
Summer Homick / Marty Haubrich*
Brooke McIntosh / Benjamin Mimar*

* Pending achieving minimum technical score

ICE DANCE
Nadiia Bashynska / Peter Beaumont
Natalie D’Alessandro / Bruce Waddell
Summer Homick / Marty Haubrich have now been replaced in the Canadian assignment page by Chloe Panetta / Kieran Thrasher, presumably because they didn’t earn their minimums at Bavarian Open.

I was hoping to see the 2nd place finisher Fiona Bombardier in the junior worlds ...

Do we know why she is not entered...

Any assignments for Fiona ?

Anyone know ?
at this point, I don't think so. Skate Canada does not usually send skaters in the latter part of the season other than the big events or those who need minimums for the big events.. I am thinking that junior worlds and worlds are the last competitions for our skaters.

women: Linnea Ceder
Substitutes in order: Iida Karhunen, Olivia Lisko, Janna Jyrkinen

men: Makar Suntsev
Substitutes in order: Matias Lindfors, Arttu Juusola

To choose Linnea is legitimate to the rules they have announced, but I find it a little bit weird, though. She is just one week not to be too old, her TES is from season 2019/2020 and she has not competed in juniors since that season. I was wondering if she will go, but probably they who have made the selection have asked.

In men is rare situation to be able have even two substitutes. It has been seasons to send nobody in men.
